Case Study 1) A Busy shipping company needing complete Server and PC overhaul
Our client, a busy Shipping and logistics company based in Dunmow, Have been hit by server failures before and now implement a 3 year IT replacement policy.
They required a replacement of all servers and client PCs (Desktops and Laptops) This would have been a £30k+ hit to their operating capital. Using the leasing method enabled them to stretch this out into smaller more manageable chunks keeping them able to react to.
We supplied and installed the new Servers, desktops and laptops along with a backup and disaster recovery solution
Case Study 2) A Serviced Office business park operator
A large managed office space provider, needed to replace the core IT network that it uses to serve the tenant companies with Internet access, They required POE (Power over Ethernet) gigabit switches to enable them to move to a VOIP phone service.
We supplied them with
7 x HP Procurve HP 2920-48G-POE+ 48 port switches
2 x Cisco Cisco ASA 5512 Firewalls (for failover and redundancy)
Plus the Installation time required.
This was an £11k order, and while they have cash at bank there were other 'big ticket' items that needed to be paid for (the blessing and curse of owning a listed building!)
Case Study 3) An Ecommerce based digital agency
This customer is the premier digital agency in the UK focusing on the Magento platform of e-commerce framework. They are expanding rapidly with offices in Australia, New Zealand, and now Mauritius. With expansion comes the need for equipment for the staff to use. They required Mac desktops Apple iMac 27" Retina for heavy graphic and web coding work. Because of the technical skill on site we supplied the equipment and they self installed.
The MD explained that the "leasing model was perfect (for them) to be able to get the best tools with a manageable outlay, £500 a month for the entire lot is much easier to swallow than £15k!"
